Communities of Practice

CalECSE held 28 Communities of Practice across all 11 regions of California during the 2024/2025 School Year.  This was a great opportunity for special education early childhood educators and leaders to meet and interact.  We spent time making connections, building relationships and sharing resources and best practices.  Over 94% of those who responded to our End of the Year Survey shared that they would recommend CalECSE's Community of Practice to a colleague. 

Our goal for this school year is to transition from building relationships to deepening our practice.  Protocols will be utilized to increase the effectiveness of our work.  CalECSE's Community of Practice participants are specific to school district, SELPA, and County Office of Education staff who are currently working in the field.  We welcome you to join us in our collaborative spaces.
